Lisa M. Richman is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Washington, D.C., office. She focuses her practice on international arbitration matters. Lisa has experience representing clients in a broad range of matters, including in the areas of international commercial and investment arbitrations, securities enforcement, securities litigation, general commercial litigation, and insurance coverage. Her clients have included investors, governments, corporations, corporate officers and directors and individuals. Lisa also has experience conducting internal investigations in a variety of areas around the world. She is a native German speaker, and is proficient in Spanish and French. Lisa received her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a notes and comments editor for The Tax Lawyer. Following law school, Lisa was a law clerk for the Honorable A. Franklin Burgess, Jr. of the District of Columbia Superior Court. She received her B.A. from Haverford College, with highest departmental honors.
