Ijeoma Ononogbu is an international dispute resolution solicitor trained dual common law jurisdictions. She is a barrister and solicitor of the supreme court of Nigeria, and a solicitor of the senior courts of England & Wales. As well as, an international arbitrator (FCIArb). She advises and represents major UK, EU, US , and African multinationals on a wide range of commercial disputes, in both international arbitration and litigation proceedings. She has assisted and represented clients in complex litigation cases. She has been involved in arbitration proceedings conducted before tribunals constituted under the rules of major international arbitration institution. She has experience in a wide range of industry sectors which includes construction, information technology, telecommunications, energy, and investment.
Her representation covers all aspects of the arbitral process, including, the negotiation of arbitration clauses in non-contentious settings, the conduct of arbitral proceedings, and advocacy at trial.
